Detailed job description / Requirement
We are looking for a fast, smart, and organized Store Assistant for our office/warehouse in Kathmandu. Apart from daily data entry and pasting MRP labels, you will be responsible for tracking stock levels closely. You will use Excel and AI tools to make reports on how fast items are selling, find old stock that is stuck, and suggest when to order new goods so we never run out of fast-moving items.
• Working Days: Sunday to Friday
What You Will Do Every Day (Job Duties):
1. Stock Tracking & KPI Reports
- Stock Availability: Keep a daily record of what items are currently available in the store and what items are close to finishing.
- Goods Ageing Reports: Track how long items have been sitting in the warehouse. Make reports to show management which products are old or slow-moving.
- KPI Reports: Create basic performance reports for stock (Key Performance Indicators), such as tracking Dead Stock (items not selling at all) and Stock Turnover (how quickly shelves are cleared).
2. Smart Re-Ordering
- Monitor which products are "fast-moving" (selling very quickly).
- Create list-based suggestions for management on when to order new stock and in what quantity,
ensuring popular items never go out of stock.
3. Fast Data Entry & MRP Labeling
- Receive incoming goods, count them quickly, and enter them into the computer system
immediately without mistakes.
- Print and paste MRP labels on products swiftly and efficiently.
4. Store Organization
- Keep the warehouse/store neat, clean, and properly arranged so that matching physical stock
with computer records is easy.
Skills
- You must be good with basic math and numbers.
- Computer Skills (Excel): Must know MS Excel or Google Sheets well. You should know how to sort data, use basic formulas (like SUM, AVERAGE, or VLOOKUP), and make simple tables/charts for reports.
- AI Tools: Should know how to use ChatGPT or Gemini to quickly learn Excel shortcuts, write
professional emails, or get ideas on how to organize stock data.
- Mindset: Very fast at typing, detail-oriented (doesn't miss mistakes in numbers), and self-
motivated to keep things organized.
