We are looking for an energetic and responsible Accounts & Recovery Officer to manage basic accounting tasks, customer payment follow-ups, and outstanding recovery. The role involves regular coordination with customers and the sales team, maintaining recovery records, and conducting field visits when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor outstanding payments and maintain daily debtor/recovery lists.
- Follow up with customers through calls, messages, and emails for pending payments.
- Maintain accurate records of payment commitments and follow up on promised dates.
- Coordinate with sales representatives to ensure timely recovery from their respective customers.
- Prepare daily and weekly recovery and outstanding reports using Excel/Google Sheets.
- Perform basic accounting, billing, payment tracking, and customer ledger-related activities.
- Visit customer locations when required to resolve payment issues and support recovery.
- Identify payment discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
- Prepare professional payment reminders using email, SMS, and basic AI tools.
- Maintain proper documentation of all recovery activities and customer communications.
Skills
- Experience in accounts, recovery, collection, credit control, or customer payment follow-up is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and receivables.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Must be comfortable with customer follow-ups and field visits.
- Valid two-wheeler license and own vehicle are mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of ChatGPT/Gemini or other AI tools is an advantage.
- Energetic, persistent, honest, and able to handle difficult conversations professionally.
