Detailed job description / Requirement

The Finance & Operations Manager will oversee the company's financial management, compliance, budgeting, reporting, and operational processes. Working closely with the CEO, the role supports strategic planning, business performance, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain books of accounts, including vouchers, bank reconciliation, receivables, and payables.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
• Monitor revenue, receipts, and settlements from international operations.

Tax & Compliance

• Manage VAT, TDS, income tax filings, and IRD portal activities.
• Ensure statutory compliance (OCR, CIT, audits, and regulatory filings).
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Prepare annual budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Track budget performance and analyze variances.
• Support business planning, investment analysis, and performance monitoring.

Operations & Administration

• Manage payroll, vendor payments, procurement, and office administration.
• Review vendor contracts and improve financial and operational processes.

Skills

• Experience with VAT, TDS, income tax, and IRD portal.
• Proficiency in Tally and Advanced MS Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience in payroll, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license.
• High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred: Experience in SaaS or subscription-based businesses and familiarity with metrics such as MRR, ARR, CAC, and churn.
