Detailed job description / Requirement

We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety Officer to support the implementation of occupational health and safety practices across our manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for promoting workplace safety, ensuring compliance with safety standards, conducting inspections, and fostering a safe and healthy work environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with PPE requirements, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Support the implementation of occupational health and safety standards across the factory.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety orientations, and basic safety training for employees.
• Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor fire safety equipment, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety compliance.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
• Support internal safety audits and regulatory compliance activities.
• Coordinate with department heads to improve workplace health and safety.
• Promote employee well-being and support HR/Admin initiatives related to occupational health and community safety.

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in a similar Health & Safety role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Skills

• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response procedures.
• Strong observation, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Effective communication and training abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
