Detailed job description / Requirement

We're looking for a skilled 3D Modeling Artist to create production-ready models for characters, props, and environments. You'll apply advanced polygonal modeling techniques, create facial blendshapes, and collaborate closely with concept, animation, and technical art teams.

 

What You'll Do

  • Model simple to complex props, characters, and environments to a high standard
  • Create all types of blendshapes for complex facial expressions
  • Manage UV layouts efficiently using UDIM workflows for texture painting
  • Apply advanced knowledge of human and animal anatomy for accurate character modeling
  • Collaborate with concept artists, animators, and tech artists throughout production
  • Guide and review work of junior artists to maintain consistent standards

 

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in 3D modeling (characters, props, environments)
  • Proficiency in polygonal subdivision modeling and sculpting tools (ZBrush, Blender, Maya)
  • Strong understanding of real-world proportions, scale, and anatomy
  • Experience with UV mapping and UDIM workflows
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Art, Design, 3D Modeling, or related field

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience creating hard-surface and organic models
  • Familiarity with rigging requirements for character models

Skills

 

  • Excellent understanding of human and animal anatomy, proportions, and form.
  • Ability to interpret concept art and transform it into high-quality 3D assets.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
