The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and quality purchase of materials required for smooth business and production operations. The role involves supplier management, price negotiation, inventory coordination, purchase planning, and, where applicable, international sourcing and import procedures.
Job responsility
- Purchase materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts.
- Compare quotations and select the best suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the production and warehouse team.
- Control procurement costs and maintain budget.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained for all purchased materials.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
- Handle import procedures if materials are sourced internationally.
Skills
